The Holy Bible-
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21)
The Eternal Godhead-
We believe in one God who expresses himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (John 1: 1-3;14;Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
The Fall of Man-
We believe that God created man in his image and his likeness, but through voluntary disobedience man fell from perfection (Romans 5:12).
The Plan of Salvation-
We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us reconciling us unto God, thus satisfying the penalty of sin for all who believe on Jesus. (John 3:16; Romans 5:8; Romans 5:10)
Repentance and Justification-
We believe that when we repent, and accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord, we are then justified before God. (Acts 2:38; Romans 5:1, 1 John 1:9)
New Birth/Being Born Again-
We believe that there is significant change in the heart and life at the point of conversion, this we call the New Birth (John 3:5; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 4:30; 2 Corinthians 1:22)
We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward change. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:35-38; Romans 6:3-4)
The Lord’s Supper-
We believe in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper by the symbolic use of bread and the “fruit of the vine”. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit-
We believe that the Holy Spirit endows the believer with power. We also believe the Holy Spirit seals one until the day of redemption. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4,38; Acts 19:2-6; Luke 11:13)
The Gifts and Fruit of the Spirit-
We believe that the Holy Spirit has gifts to bestow upon the Christian believer, and that with the infilling of the Holy Spirit the Christian should demonstrate fruit as an evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit. (1Corinthians 12:1-11, Galatians 5:22-23)
We believe divine healing is the power of Christ to heal the physically sick in answer to the prayer of faith. (James 5:14-16)
The Second Coming of Christ-
We believe in the literal and personal second coming of Jesus Christ (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 19:11- 13)
We believe that rulers and authorities should be held in high regard, prayed for, and obeyed except when they oppose the will of God (Romans 13:1-5; 1 Peter 2:13-20)
The Final Judgment-
We believe that we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. (Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10)
We believe in a literal heaven, which is the glorious home of born again believers.(John 14:1-3;
We believe in a literal hell where the unrepentant will be in torment day and night for rejecting Christ. (Revelation 20:10, 14-15)
Tithes and Offering-
We believe that the God ordained method for supporting the spread of His cause is through the giving of tithes and offering.(Malachi 3:10, Matthew 23:23, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7; Proverbs 3:9-10;)
You can expect to receive a warm and friendly greeting and to be introduced to a current member. Abundant Life Restoration Center is a non-denominational, multi-cultural church where everyone is welcome! Our Worship reflects our diverse Christian heritage! Our founders were both raised in the Methodist Tradition (AME and UM); and worshipped in Full Gospel Baptist and Pentecostal churches. Our leadership team and members come from various denominations while others had no prior church experience at all. You can expect a blended worship experience of traditional hymns and contemporary worship and praise. The congregation has a fresh hunger and passion to see the Holy Spirit move in whatever way pleases Him. Expect to leave uplifted, encouraged, inspired, and challenged by relevant messages by our Pastor and occasionally an invited guest or one of our in-house ministers. Our services start at 9:15 and usually ends around 11am.
You will see people dressed in a wide range of attire from jeans to Sunday's Best. Please wear what makes you feel comfortable.
Communion is available to all believers in Christ on the First Sunday of each month. Offerings are made by our members as part of our commitment to God and the church. As a guest, you will also be given the opportunity to give in our offerings.
